Another soccer report….well, sort of. This week we had a bye for soccer…and it was raining. We wouldn’t have played anyway, even if we had a game, so it was good we didn’t. Bummer for the rest of the teams though. This week has been really rainy overall and a lot of other things going on.

Another school update is that Spring Thing is happening next weekend, so people are excited about it. They recently dropped the price to the dance to $40. I think people will have fun going to it.

Umm I don’t think there are any other updates. Oh wait, chapel was umm interesting thing morning. They just let us go, as their ‘Creative Arts’ chapel. Classes are going well and I like them. That’s about it I guess…not much else going on in my life. Well, I guess there is one more great thing. I love hanging out with my girlfriend and spending quality time with her. We’ve only been together a little over 3 months, but it’s been a growing and stretching 3 months for me at least. It’s been good and I look forward to hopefully spending more time with her. God truly never stops working in amazing ways with each person’s life.

Finally. Everyone here at APU has finished the first week of classes. Some of my classes are still going through the instructions, but most have already started lecturing. I will just give you a rundown of my schedule. I have Accounting II, which will be an AWESOME class, Exodus/Deuteronomy, Intro. to Literature, Health, and General Psych. Hope everyone had a great holiday break!

I’m home :D Yes folks, that’s right. I have finally back to sunny errrr rainy California. I’m back at school and classes start tomorrow. I had a VERY eventful break which included a lot of cold weather and lots of fun. I will be posting pictures of the trip later today. The major part of my break was the event of my flying up to Washington to see my girlfriend and her family. It was a blast and it was really good to get to know them and where she is from. It was cold, as you read in my other posts, but I liked it overall. It’s good to be home still because I miss my California and the familiarity of knowing my home town. This new semester has a lot of surprises coming, I think. Regarding the semester already, I think I might be adding/dropping 2 classes and changing my schedule around completely due to the fact that I might not be able to stay in one of my classes. That’s life though. The semester will be VERY busy, but very good. So keep checking up on this site to see what’s going on in my life :) I hope everyone’s break was safe and good. I hope that everyone that is still at home, has safe travels back to school wherever you may be going. God bless.

Hey everybody! I hope your Christmas season is going well and that you have a joyous one. I am actually packing up right now, as I’m posting this, to move home. My dad is coming to get me around 12 and then I’m going to graduation. IT should be a good day. I’m having Christmas at my house and all of my family is coming out to my house for it. But right after Christmas is over, I fly up to Washington to visit a family. There should be some good times when I go up and a lot of new and exciting things happening. I’ll try to keep posted while I’m up there, but I’m not sure if I will be able to or not. I’ll be taking pictures so you can see them when I return. I hope everyone has a great Christmas and that everyone stays safe. (P.S. — if you see my bike around, someone stole it. so please attack them with a flipflop if you see them so I may get it back. Thanks![not kidding, my bike really did get stolen])

Finals week is here. I am currently half way done with my finals and I feel that both my easiest and hardest finals, have gone extremely well. I felt prepared for both of them and did my job as a student. I have 2 more finals to attend to. Philosophy and accounting. They should both be pretty easy since I have all the material I need for it, just have to study a little bit. I’ll be free on Wednesday after about 12ish, but until then.. STUDY STUDY STUDY!!!! I have work on Friday from 9am to 5pm, setting up for graduation. Saturday I get to attend graduation (maybe work), and then leave with my family to go back to Thousand Oaks for 2 weeks. Hit me up on my cell and we can hang out over break!!! GOOD LUCK ON FINALS EVERYONE ( AT APU )!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, on that note I will start this post. The drawn out phrase actually has a lot more behind it than just a simple, for sure meaning. But anywho. This past weekend was amazing. Laura and I went on a date on Friday and for dinner we went to a chicken and waffle place that was really good. Next we tried to go to a surprise place (turned out to be Jamba) that Laura wouldn’t tell me about, but it turned out they were closed by the time we got there….sad day. We then drove over to the Santa Monica pier (*yay* for my mom’s hometown). We walked on the beach and then we just hung out. Saturday we picked up jamba since we had missed it the night before….and man it was good.

We went back to my house after getting jamba and then we looked at pictures, played some games, and I gave Laura the tour of Thousand Oaks/Westlake/Newbury Park. This was good because she had not seen my home town yet, so now she has. We went to a concert on Saturday night (the band we went for was called Respira). Sunday rolled around and we went to Calvary Community Church in the morning and Laura got to meet a lot of my friends. We went back home and then went out to lunch with my mother. Sunday night we went to Axis and had a great time there. From there we drove home.

Monday came around and I had classes. Classes came, classes went….they were good. I finished the day and then felt good. Today, being Tuesday, I woke up and finished some work for Laura and then I went and was a guest speaker at a middle school for one of my friends that is a teacher. It was great to go see her class and be able to speak in there to share what’s going on in my life. Laura and I spent most of the afternoon running errands such as buying gifts, groceries, getting my “sledge” fixed, and picking up pictures. It has been a very successful day and then I am leaving home to go home tomorrow *YAY*. Life is good right now.

Yeah…about that. Well, it’s been a while since I’ve posted here…and well, there’s good reason for that. Life has been pretty crazy busy lately and will be even more crazy busy the rest of this week.

Friday was a lot of fun. I finished up my classes and worked on a little homework. Then got to spend some time with that one person in that one mod again. Yes, I am speaking of the wonderful and the beautiful Laura. We watched Oceans Eleven because neither of us had seen it in a while. It was good to refresh that movie in my mind. The quality time with Laura was much appreciated and it’s good to be getting to know her better. As school is still a priority in my life, I try to find time to spend with Laura. I am finally realizing how much I miss my family now. Even when my sisters live 5 minutes away and my brother-in-law 5 minutes away, I still miss them. I want to be able to see them more than just once a week at church. Seeing my mother and father has become important to me now because I rarely get to see them. (more…)

Phew. I finally got a second to sit down and type up some of my life here. I have been moving non-stop for the past ummm 72 hours I think. Mid-term tomorrow in philosophy, an accounting test on friday, a paper due in 1 week, 3 papers to write tonight for the philosophy mid-term, and somewhere in there I have to find time to live.

I’m actually going to make this a short post because I’m going to Starbucks or somewhere to study and be quiet. It won’t be too hard to pump these essays out, I just need to sit down and do it. But that’s all for now, maybe I’ll update it later with some new information about me. Have a great week!

Wow describes exactly how this evening went. It was spent in this one mod with this one special young lady. We worked on homework and were given the opportunity to greater our knowledge of each other. Times like these fall under the ‘good times’ category and also fall into the long term memory bank of mine. The blessings of God are seeming to become more and more apparent to myself. He displays his Love in ways that I had never expected, giving me a comfort and peace with my life. Not to go into too much further details, I had a spectacular evening and I hope that they will continue.

My week should be pretty eventful. I have tech training on Tuesday evening, well in a little bit. Chapel Wednesday morning and evening as well, with College Group or a Quality Vinyl concert on Thursday. Friday is our day off of school, so I will be spending it with my special friend. Not exactly sure what we will be doing, but I know it will be something I will remember.

Update 10-20-04: I ended up not going to tech training at CCV because they had other things going on at that time, so I would have been unable to get any training.

My classes are going well right now…I just need to remember to stay focused and buckle down to get the work done. Kind of how I’m finishing my philosophy paper right now for tomorrow hehe. No matter though…I get it done and get the grades I need to succeed. My direction of life feels positive right now and just feels right. This week has progessively gotten better. It started out with a hectic day of Alpha Kappa Psi, work, school, and friends. After resigning from being a pledge with Alpha Kappa Psi because of scheduling and time issues, the week started to feel lighter. I got sick this week with a small cold, so I’ve been slowly working on my homework, but still getting it done. Today, Wednesday, I finished a great day of classes and then had the privilege of spending an afternoon with Laura. We watched Miracle while working on some homework. It was quite an eventful afternoon and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Around 7:15, I then arrived at work and started my night. Arriving back at my mod around 11:30 I started my homework of Philosophy. Here I am posting this and going to bed soon, only so I can wake up a couple hours later for Philosophy class haha.
